Thanks guys, I got it. The tool pouch strap had come unhooked and a corner of the pouch was jammed in the latch the last time that I had shut it. I didn't do a good job describing the problem, I couldn't get the center to pop up to get to the bolts.

I DEFINATELY don't proclaim to be a motorcycle mechanic but is it possible that it just running out of fuel at periods of high demand due to either a clogged filter or a weak fuel pump? If one of my old street/strip cars acted like that, that's what I would suspect. Just my $.02.

You realize that part for those things are made out of "unobtainium". They are like a bic razor. When something breaks, you throw it away and get another one. That said, it could still be a good deal due to the gas savings.

I just bought a Borg Warner TFS 545. I was assuming that it was a direct plug in but see that it isn't. I'm assuming that you guys are just cutting off the factory plug, installing new terminals on each of the wires, and plugging them in individually?
