I bought the tires in May 08 and they are stamped 2707 on the front and 4207 rear so they werent that old when they sent them to me.It just pisses me off that the factory doesn't want to warranty there tires,regardless of where I bought them.It's still there tires.

I bought a new set of Avon Venom X last May 08 for my Vmax. I love the way the tire handles but they cracked on the side walls like they are dry rotted. I talked to the guys at MotoX on line that I bought them from and they didn't want to warranty them. I finally did some research online and...

It took almost a week but I finally heard back from Avon and they are gonna replace the tires for me, no questions asked.I'm guessing I'm not the first one to have this problem.

The date code for the front is 2807 and the rear is 4207 so neither are two years old yet.

I put on a set of 11.5 progressive shocks and like the way the bike looks. Do I have to lower the front? Is it going to effect the handling of the bike? It's not a big deal to lower the front, I just like the way the bike sits right now.
