Well here's a twist the dealer I bought it from last fall. With only 500 km later is going to take a look and feels he can get it fixed for nada. I love a good dealer.
Thanks for all.
I DO KNOW HOW THINGS CAN GO REAL WRONG QUICK!!! But I'm hoping for the best.
Thanks again.
Anyone heard of a grounding problem, from what I gather so far that's what it seems to be. Watched the slides and butterflies and saw an arc, it is non carb specific 1 2 3 4 does not seem to matter. When riding I do not even know it's happening. ??????
I have a odd noise coming from the carb/air box area at 1500 rpm. I'm looking for someone that I can trust. Not all mechanics are created equal as I'm sure you know. Also just a general once over. I just got the bike last fall and didn't spend much time on it.
I know this has be flogged but the threads are older than my bike and get off topic. It's like talking to my wife . All I want is a good Vmax Mechanic in South western Ontario Canada. I've put my question to the members and no real idea as to what's going on. So a good mechanic ref would be...
Guess I'll pull the air box and take a better look and listen. If I don't find anything obvious anyone know a dealership or mechanic with good rep for Vmax work. In southern Ontario.
Can recreate to the letter just slow rev to 1500 and boom. Not a loose article it does affect the engine slightly if slow rev to 1500 in neutral. Just don't notice it when riding "So Far".
I have a noise I believe is coming from the carb/air filter area but only at around 1500 rpm. For lack of a better way to describe it, it sounds like a large solenoid clacking away. I know there is a servo for the VBoost and mine seems to cycle fine on start up but is there a solenoid or...
I'll check those out thanks. Foot note you would love my family, Red Head mother, Red Head Sister ,the good reds. Many friends of mine had a thing for my mom(creepy) I got lucky more blonde than red which works for a guy.
Any one use a Saddlemen ts3200de for traveling. Looks nice and thought it might mount well. Any other suggestions would be appreciated as well.
Thanks in advance
Keith
No accident. I think I'll pull them apart take a look clean ect. Just thought it might be a known problem. I may take you up on a good used rotor in the spring if things don't work out. Provided you still have them.
Thanks again
