I found a pvc pipe in my garage that was the perfect diameter and long enough. Bring the seal to a Home Depot or something and buy a plastic pipe for like 5 bucks.

Hey, I’m new to the site also. I picked up an 86 vmax two years ago. The bike didn’t run for 7 years and also needed an inspection. After painting the bike and engine, replacing all fluids, rebuilding the carbs, added progressive front shocks... and the list goes on and on. I did all the work...

Well I managed to get it all back together, once I looked at the old brush plate.

Hi guys is there a reason why I can’t see any of the pictures on this post? I took my starter apart but only received my rebuild kit a couple weeks after and can’t remember where the brush end connects on the insulated brush bracket. If you understand what I’m trying to say
