It never really gets cold here so the only non-riding season is when I go away on holiday, usually summer. I just remove the terminals from the battery to reduce leakage. I do the same on my cars. Seems to work, reconnect and they crank good and strong. I wonder if that would also work in...

Well this could be good news I guess. I let my 92 Vmax go just one year ago. Went to a Buell Lightning.. But I miss that raw power and was thinking of an 08.. But hey if they bring out a new one that has an updated suspension in 09... that could be great..

Last year I piad about 350 dollars for liability only here in Dubai. I am 50 and clean record. This year I got a good quote of about 260 liability only. I will snap it up as they are quoting 400-500 dollars here for new riders liability only..:damn angry:

The crossover cable idea is great. And yes you need the same workgroup. What about upgrading the Win 98 to XP? That is what I would do first. For me this is not an issue as I have the licenses available to do it. Just an idea..

45 and 32 sound real cold to me.. We never get that here and winter is the most popular riding season as you are less likely to suffer heat fatigue. As for the Vmax brotherhood that is cool mate. Just theorising but it might come from the fact that Vmax owners are kind of like the holders...

I have 3: Brand new Buell Lightning long XB12Ss 2005 Yamaha YZ450f with a paddle for the desert. 93 Vmax.. I hate to admit it but my Vmax was up for sale for the last few weeks. I have had it for 2 years and really enjoyed it. It is up for re-registration next week and I have to pay 260...
