    Finally done with engine rebuild . started the bike and got this leak on front cylinder oil delivery pipe. Was torqued to spec with new gaskets. just wondering[ if I need to simply change gasket or could banjo bolt or oil circuit be an issue?

    I thought you were supposed to check the level in sight glass while engine was running and make sure it was between the marks.

    Rebulding the engine and need to repace crank bearings. I'm reading J1 J2 J3 J4 on the crank 2332 and on the case just one number 3. Guess that means 3 for all For all case journals. If i do the calculation i would get 0 for J2 J3 bearings . What color should I use ?

    Got all the covers , bolts removed and ready to split case to investigate transmission. Should the cases split easily or do I need to pry them apart.

    Removing the exhaust is not a problem . but man do I hate putting this thing back on . Never seems to line up right. last itme I just brought it to the shop and told them do deal with it. :-(.

    Pan is not the problem... I was removing clutch to check on my segment. When i removed the ball behind the screw holding the clutch basket dropped it in the oil pan. Drained the oil, looked with flash light, tried magnet etc can t find it. Wont take the chance of starting the engine knowing it...
