I was looking at the same tire 2 weeks ago. They didn't have a matching front so I went with the ME880. I've always been leery about mixing and matching my tires. I they had a front version of the Michelin Commander that fit my stock rim, I would have given them a shot.

I'm up in North Central Iowa (Algona). I will most likely be making a ride or 2 towards the Des Moines area this summer. I have a great friend who also has a 2005 Max, but he doesn't ride it much. Have to get him to take it out.

Evidenlty the people on ebay differ from my opinion since I stopped there and they woudn't sell it below 3450, i offered 2800 then 3k. The bidders have it up to 3550. Guess i'll keep looking.

It seems a bit high, but you don't see many around my area, and they never seem to sell for close to 3k. I'll have to see what they say tomorrow...

I finally found a decent looking V Max located close by. It is an 86, 25,xxx miles, all stock bike. They are asking $3650 for it. What do I need to look for on this bike? Are there any emminent problems on this year? Any insight, information would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, the Z is plenty of fun to ride. Everyone says that it doesn't have much down low, but a good set of pipes and a PCIII take care of some of this. I still have it if anyone is looking...
