Jim You guys know I had an all out 1500 1st gen Max . After all the money spent on it . ( It did ride and handle well ) But that came at a great cost. Compaired to the new max the old max still felt like a wet noodle to the 09 max . I only put 275 miles on so far but I must say it is the best...

They stopped making 170 60 18 . Now they are 160 60 18 or 180 55 17 and no more D220 They make a road smart tire now

Tom Just ride the bike you will get use to it . It`s only after 6000 rpm and with your new motor I don`t think you`ll see to much of that .( You`ll be running around at 80+ mph .

Just remember you get what you pay for . Get a set of metal lights ( Not plastic ) They will hold up better.

Sean It still pulls like a frieght train in 5th ( overdrive with a 1500 and 17 inch wheels) I have to much respect for it in those ranges . I don`t have the balls anymore after my 135 mph crash Chuck
