Same as the boys above. I simply welded a "T" handle on the one side of a 41mm Hex Nut. Works a treat, and has good solid contact with the nut. That's a $65. nut, so you don't want to stuff it up LOL

I do manufacture a custom VR-1 17 x 6" rear wheel for the V-Max. It is a V-Max original hub centre from a stock wheel, machined down and mated to the rim and spokes of a 17 x 6" Yamaha R1 wheel. It aint cheap, but professionally built, fully balanced, freshly powder coated and shipped worldwide...

If you have a quickshifter and it quits working, you will know it right away. Mostly, it simply won't shift. No harm done, just frustrating. The HealTech sensor is extremely reliable, and I have yet to have one fail in 4-5 years use. The app will of course tell you if you have an issue, but...

Every time you squeeze the sensor on a HealTech quickshifter you get a timed ignition kill. In certain mounting conditions, you will end up squeezing the sensor whether you are up or down shifting. Mounting the sensor on the shift lever retaining bolt will yield such effect. Mounting it "inline"...

It can also be mounted on the bolt on the linkage and provide both up and down shifts.

I use the HealTech Quickshifter easy. No laptop required. Bluetooth comms. Free app. Smallest sensor. Fits the Max easily, and works with your other goodies...PCV, etc...
