Hey guys. My 86 dies whenever it gets wet. Weather I wash it or get caught in the rain. After it sits for a day or two and dries out it will restart. I can't pinpoint exactly what it is. Any thoughts?

Ok guys, 2FEAR was right. It's a coil. I swapped the coil from the wet cylinder and swapped it with one of the back ones. Now the back cylinder is wet. Where is the best placeto get one? Naughty G, how much am I looking at for the cop conversion? I was thinking about doing it this winter anyway...

Took up and down the road and killed it on the way in the driveway. Seems as though it is the right front cylinder, as that is the only plug that was wet. I will pull the coil out and give it a look see.

I will pull them out and check them. Not sure how it would run awesome for forty miles then start doing it again though.

I need to dig into it to see which cylinders it is. I believe it is a spark issue, but need to verify that as well.

Ice and snow are when the molecular structure of..........j/k. They are fun for a couple months a year as long as you have the equipment to ride during this time. At this point,enough is enough.LOL

I never realized just how bad azz these things sound with a kereker on them. They should have come stock from the factory that way. It figures.... I put the kerker on on Thurs. and I get 8" of snow on Tues. Oh well.:punk:

I just changed my fork seals. How easy is that. I just want anyone out there thinking about doing it to know that it is cake. I am no longer intimidated by front forks. Dave:punk:

Does anyone know roughly how much oil each front fork should take? I'm gonna change my seals this week and want to be prepared. Also any recomendations on oil type?Thanks.

I noticed the other day that my fuel pump kept pumping. Sometimes it does sometimes it does'nt pump for awhile. What tells it the system is pressurized? the float and needle only? Spoke with Sean Morley and he no gots a spare black box. Anyone else got one they can part with? This bike is really starting to cost me. Hopefully after this she's good.
