I really like my Harbor Freight unit. I can't think of anything bad to say about it. It usually has my Norton on the lift, not the VMax though!

It has UFO 4-2 exhaust. The original owner stated he did use a jet kit but said he lost the info for sizes. I did have the carbs apart to clean everything out about a year ago when I adjusted the float levels but I didn't check what was installed.

Thanks for the advise Vinnie. I will check on the COPS first. The air filter was cleaned about 1000 miles ago (K&N). It still looks clean.

Bill / Magnablower, do you have any videos or info on the 200mph or 240mph vmax? I would imagine that would take a massive amount of horsepower since our bikes are about as aerodynamic as a sideways piece of plywood. Even on a sportbike I would bet 240mph would take 400+ hp.

If I was in the market I would definitely pony up for this bike. Great value for what is done to it.

When I drained out the float bowls to winterize the vmax this year I noticed a fair bit of rust coming out of the left rear float bowl. The other bowls had little or no rust fragments. I refilled the bowls about 4 times and drained, and continued to get a little bit out of the left rear float...

If the bike is in good shape he is giving you an excellent deal. 60,000 is fine if it was cared for.

Wow I wished I lived even a little closer to you. That is way under priced.

Is there any significant horsepower gain here, or is it mostly for the cool factor?
