    Enjoy

Thanks, satariel. Worthy addition to the Yammie Service manual...

Does this look like a good buy?

Got to agree with you on I75--it's like playing bumper cars at high speed. I'll stick to the back roads whenever possible...

Does this look like a good buy?

Thanks for the welcome, Patmax, and I'll be glad to check out a bike night here and there. Heading down there for a few weeks next month, mainly to get the house ready for moving in.

Does this look like a good buy?

Thanks for giving me the options on the paint, Kyle. Can't beat that. Looking forward to the pics, although I know it's tough to tell true color from photos. That black/pearl sounds like it leans more toward my tastes, though. While you're out there with the camera, if you could take a couple...

Does this look like a good buy?

Yeah, didn't know it was Kyle's or I would've dealt more directly. Talked with him an hour ago-thanks for all the input, all.

Does this look like a good buy?

Great points, Chris. You've got good eyes for spotting the taillight discrepancy. I also forgot about the salt air in Florida, but that would be true for any bikes I get down there. So, newer would be better, all other things considered.

Does this look like a good buy?

The wife and I are moving to Fort Myers, FL, and I thinking of selling my '92 and picking up another Max down there, just to make it easier. Found this one on CL and would like some opinions (other than on the color, which I'm not that keen on and would probably change) as to whether this seems...

    CL scam

I noticed it's a very rare 2nd gen Max-it has an automatic tranny...

Its time to open a can of whoop ass.

Don't get me wrong, KJ-definitely no need for you to apologize--it was the person who pshopped the photo who meant to get people enraged. I'm with you, man. All who live here should have to follow the proper rules for becoming citizens, and should have to pay taxes and contribute just like the...

Its time to open a can of whoop ass.

As someone who works with video and photos for a living, the sign in that pic is definitely altered, obviously to inflame hatred. I see it's done it's job.

so i rode the dragon again..

Thanks, that was quite an interesting read, man, although I did half expect it to be a joke by the end--but no, it was a real friggin' post, including pissing in the sink! You must've scared the crap outta the poor cleaning woman, though. Oh yeah, and I'll be looking closely at any public sinks...

Harleys makes you a tough guy...really?

Help yourself, EvilD, I'm into sharing everything except my bike and my wife...plus, I grabbed the nut, bolt and washer images from a parts microfiche--I think it was from the Dennis Kirk site. I also don't think there's anything wrong with Harleys or their riders, per se. Just not my type of...

Harleys makes you a tough guy...really?

Since this seems like the right place to be dumpin' on HD, here's a well known Harley animated gif. I knew something wasn't quite right when I first saw it, so I made a few minor adjustments...

    your first bike?

First bike was a 1966 Yamaha YL-1, bought in 1969, which looked like the first pic below, but was red like the cafe racer in the 3rd pic. My first new bike was a '73 Yamaha TX500, like the 2nd pic but a rust color. Rode that one from San Diego to New York in the spring of '74. Very reliable...
