    VMAX Question (NEWBI)

Yes, the hours have changed. For the first time in 16 years, I have Mon-Fri 9-5. I have become an Overtime hound tho. Tomorrow I'm gunna go in for about 4 hrs. Sunday is open tho.... Or next weekend (prob both days). I'd like to take advantage of this fantastic weather. Lemme know.

    VMAX Question (NEWBI)

Hey Calimus, were these runs out of the hole from a dead stop or rolling? My faorite race is a "street start". Get rolling at 5 or 10 mph side by side on a deserted road. Pre pick a sign or some marker on the road as the start point and both of you nail it when you reach that point. Run'm up to...

    06 V-max, mufflers??

So far, I don't have any plans to change my Trapps for a full system. I really do like the sound with the open end caps. Then again, I haven't heard anyone's Max with Pauls full system either. The power issue isn't that big a deal for me. The current setup is quite fun and is nearly "tinker"...

    Barring flood, locusts, nuclear attack...

Congratz on the new ride :cheers00: Hey look, it's a TOTALLY stock Max. At least we have photographic evidence that they do really exist. I really do love the midnight theme Yamaha went to on the new ones. Enjoy the new ride and don't worry if your oil light comes on as you row thru the...

    Barring flood, locusts, nuclear attack...

Hey, it's tuesday. So what is the news? :confused2: I hope that you got your new baby and are out terrorizing the local kids.... Don't forget the pics.

the B-king is now a reality

I agree Buster. Putting a factory supercharger on it would be kinda like Yamaha way back in 1985 with the Max. Make something over the top and class dominating. Instead we (or really Europe only) will get a "tuned for torque" , which really means de-tuned, Busa motor in a heavier poorer handling...

the B-king is now a reality

Well, I finally found the info about the B-King. It was posted on the 22nd. Europe only for now and apparently no factory blower like the concept had :damn angry: http://www.motorcycledaily.com/22september06_suzukis.htm

The OIL thread. All oil related questions here.

Re: Motorcycle Oils vs. Automotive Oils HA! An inch shuts everything down in Atlanta. It's really dangerous down here. A few people actually know what to do. The vast majority have no clue...They mow down everything :bicycle:

the B-king is now a reality

Where did you get the info that Suzuki was gunna finally make the B-King? A month or two back I had read that they had decided not to make them. :confused2: That picture looks like a bike show. It actually looks (as in bike show "concept bike") kinda like the pics shown of the new Max. I...

Happy Birthday Thread... (post all wishes here!)

Re: Yo Calimus happy birthday! Happy Birthday Bro! The big two-nine, huh? Careful. Once you get over the hill, ya pick up speed.... Gratz. Hope you have a great day :cheers00:

The OIL thread. All oil related questions here.

Re: Motorcycle Oils vs. Automotive Oils I currently have Amsoil in my FZ1. I can't really tell any difference in any way from dino juice. I will likely go back to my old method. I do a large number of short trips on my bikes, so am pretty hard on the oil. I will begin again to change the oil...

So I need a new clutch lever

Sounds like fun! Gratz on the Anniversary. It's pretty cool to have a wife that rides her own bike. Just remember that when she passes you on a mtn road riding that nimble little SV :rofl_200: I'm looking forward to meeting up with another forum member for the first time...

So I need a new clutch lever

I'm glad that the Max survived a tip-over with such minor issues. The Max is a bit "big boned" when it comes to weight. Hey Calimus. My off days are about to change so maybe we can get together for a ride in the next month or so. It will be the first time in 16 years that I will work...

A bike wash saved my life

Buying used, I would agree. Paying for "new" should get a little attention to detail. Apparently not! We just need to always check up after the "professionals". :red ass: Well, I may very well try to ride up in the mountains later this morning. After I wake up. I have the day off! It will...
