    Tires for 18 inch rims

I've been running the Metzeler ME880 - 180-55ZR18. I went with the Metz because, since it's the tire and size used on the early Harley V-Rods, I figured it would be easier to find a replacement while on the road, from a Harley dealer. 18 inch rims being much more uncommon than 17 inch, on hand...

    Clutch Piston Diameter

5/8" for clutch master. That's stock.

    Front brake master cylinder diameter.

You'll want to stick with 14mm. 16mm will feel hard and lack "feel". Changing calipers with out using the appropriate sized masters, can end up worse than stock. I have the R1's with Nissin's and like them quite a bit. You'll want to also use HH rated pads. The pads do also make a big difference.

    Bike wobbles in agressive turns

It sounds like what I was experiencing, at one time. It feels like things are shifting and flexing. It went away, after I installed solid motor mounts and a braced swingarm. I did them both at the same time, so I can't attribute the solution to one or the other. Although, it may have needed both...

    Radials

I have the Metzler 120/70zr 18 on the front. It fits good. Slightly smaller diameter. To fill the gap, I added a couple bushings and longer bolts , to lower the fender about a 1/4 inch. My rear swingarm is modified, so I can't advise on that.

    headlight

I run the Silverstar Ultra also. I used to have a high wattage bulb, I think it was 90 or 100 watts. I got tired of my battery not getting enough charge. I changed all the running lights to LED and changed the headlight to the 60 watt Silver Star Ultra. Now, my battery always has plenty of...

Opinions on what to do first on a budget

I would do Racetech front fork springs and Racetech emulators, HH pads, and stock seat re-formed. I put on R1 calipers, braided lines and new master cylinders. The brakes work great. With the R1 calipers, you need to change to a 14 mm master cylinder. Otherwise, it won't work correctly...

    Bar End Mirrors?

I have bar ends that sit in front of the bars. I find the angle make for an easy glance over.

Hi Klatu, Sorry I just saw your message. The 7" headlight is from Exactrep. I drilled holes in the headlight mounts to relocate my turn signals lower. I got a couple chrome plugs from Home Depot to fill the holes where the signals were. Exactrep has pricing on their website. Hope this helps.

    Marks... Holy Sh!!t...

If the volume start to wear on you, Mark can make you quieter baffles. You swap them with the ones in the cans now. It knocks the decibels down , but retains the low rumble sound of the Mark's exhaust.

That sounds about normal to me, especially in 90 degree stop and go.
