I actually have mine sold too but on the edge and possibly thinking of changing my mind. I have three other bikes zx 14, 1000rr and gl1800 but the max is special . Some people say get rid of it it's old & dated but for the price it's one hell of a bike and hard to replace !

Should I use this on the Marks headers ?

When you install the new Marks exhaust do you need to use the silicone? how much do you use and what is the procedure. I never used this stuff on my sport bikes or had any leaks. Rick

I left the headers on, just the mufflers were removed .

Removed my exhaust and left the headers on for now. My Marks should be here Friday. This thing is insane with the open headers. I want to take it for a ride and was wandering will this hurt anything??? Rick

Hey Mike, That is correct I spoke to him yesterday relative to his exhaust and he was explaining to me about the old exhaust. I like his pipes but they don't sound healthy like the Marks. Rick

I had the old style in early 90's and the gas thing was tuff to get your hand in there. As far as the width as I remember it was tuff since I am also 30" inseam. I think you had more leg room though am I correct ? What about the Sean morley seat or ufo? A local guy here in Pgh. wants 450...
