I like this idea...right now it doesn't look bad but having it cut to follow the lines of the top of the headlight would make it looks like it belongs there better, imo.

For those with a K&N filter, how often are you cleaning/re-oiling the air filter? Service manual says to replace the filter at 24K miles so I assume that would be a good guess to clean it, or maybe a little before.

That isn't two pieces...parts diagrams will do this sometimes to avoid having to show the entire piece so it fits on a page. It's part #2 & 23 on ronayers fische & I think it is what you need too. As far as replacing it or not, I'd give it a few rides & see if it leaks fluid.

That is good to hear...I was scratching my head about why the service manual said the exhaust, airbox & throttle bodies had to come off for that cover.
