Can I presume the frame is chrome moly? Or plain DOM. If so what wall thickness. I suspect its CM but not sure. If anyone's cut into the subframe for some custom work before, are the subfame tubes in the seat/ shock areas 0.125" wall tubes? Just churning some ideas in my head but can't readily...

Just purchased an '02 and it has black mufflers. Got me curious now. Previous owner says owner before him put on " Special edition tins" on it for the esthetics. Wonder now if mufflers were original on the bike. See pictures in the Introductions section under "New from California".

That is an impressive dolly. Coincidentally, I had a similar idea and am modifying my HF dolly by bolting a modified HB freight wheel chock onto it.
