    I'm not a new member, just haven't posted in a while. I sold my last Vmax to a guy in Texas. I have lots of parts left for a Vmax build, and body parts? May build another one as they are great. Just answering an email i recieved for the forum. You all have a great week, Spurs:punk::punk::punk:

    Newbie with a 2000 VMax

    :punk: Erock61, After you get the carbs clean buy yourself some racing fuel. It can sit in the carbs/tank for up to almost a year and not clog your pilot jets. The new Ethanol blends can clog them in less than 3 weeks. You should be able to get racing fuel for $10 a gallon or less. Just drain...

    :punk: It's just a rubber plug. You can pull it and reuse it or buy a new one. You have 4 of them on your motor. If your fix does not work, pull it, clean it, and reinstall with rtv. Good luck, Spurs

    :punk: Hey, I only use Valvoline products in all my vehicles and have had no problems. Zerex Asian is made by Valvoline and works well. their motorcycle oil works great with this bike also. Good Luck, Spurs

    :ummm: I totally agree with you! He would surely be fired anywhere I have worked. And keep your dog out when doing this type work as you will blind him too!

    :punk: Well they only did it for 20+ years and created a large market for aftermarket people to make parts that may or may not fix threir problems. Ha Ha! These bikes are quick from stop light to stop light and sound great, that's it. If you want to turn or have a big rear wheel you can buy...

    Member #304 since 1997 but never have really seen any benefit. I like the Vboost but it doesn't show up much any more. I don't like the new site as it seems harder to use so probably won't renew any more. But, that's just my take on it. Spurs

    :confused2: Contact www.chromemasters.com and look at their online pricing. $20 for each carb cover and $120 for the back rest. Why try polishing it , CHROME it. Good luck, Spurs
