I have one main issue with my Gen1 corbin seat, its a pain in the tail to reach the gas cap with key to unlock cap.........so.........I removed the corbin seat and went back to stock seat, problem solved! And actually, the corbin seat made the riding position in relationship to pegs a bit...

you hold the front brake, stand up so weight is off the bike, rev up and dump the clutch...........burn out!

People do look over the Vrod with amazement...wondering why Harley put their name on a Porsche made product! Truth is, the motor is made by Porsche and Harley put their badge on it.

I have 02 Gen 1, and have outrun Vrod several times, remember, Vmax is original hot rod bike, can't be duplicated!

Carbon clutch was the mistake done....Carbon disks don't hold up, despite what some might think!

I bought the more common DayMaker headlight, but I did have to get another headlight bucket cause I didn't want to mess up my stock one. I am very pleased with the output and over all lighting with the DayMaker.

I have a 2002 VMax, and am window shopping front end change, maybe like a R1 tubes and triple trees, what is the best year to use? Or, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve Kent

It's only the rear mufflers with cross over. I removed to install Delvetic aftermarket slip-ons.

I have a good used stock exhaust that has been drilled out in baffles, real good condition and no dings or dents

I'm wanting to covert over to "Daymaker" type LED headlight, ordered one from Ebay,said it would fit, but, no way to remove trim ring from stock headlight to install bulb. I have aftermarket 7" headlight sbucket I used to mount faring, any ideas? Was truly wanting to retain stock 5.75" bucket...
