I had one stuck and with every attempt by several bike shops it got completely smooth. The Last Dealership suggested I " just have to buy another carb". I took it to a local Machine shop and a half hour later they called me, handed the A/F screw and charged me $14.00

I purchased a 2006 with 13k Sept of 2015 and I had a frozen A/F screw as well. After taking the carbs to three different shops, and after three failed attempts and the screw progressively getting smoother. I found a local machine shop and they extracted it for $14.00.

Update: I removed carbs, separated them and cleaned, and bench adjusted the floats. The float needles were still pliable and looked good (magnified) but probably a good Idea to replace them because of age: Now, back on the bike, #4 carb is doing what #3 was doing previously. I kept all parts...

Is there any way to dislodge a stuck float by using air? If so...where do I direct the airflow?

Thanks for replying, I was beginning to think I was doing something wrong with the blog thingy. I tried tapping the side with a rubber mallet with no results. Also removed diaphragm cover and blow air into the hose where the gas came from (On top of carb that runs up and attaches under scoops)...
