Looking for a 2000 carbon tank cover.

When I purchased the bike it was from an auction yard. They had written numbers on the tank. When they were wiped off they looked like they were still there. When I did a light sand it started to remove the carbon look as well.

I have a 2000 with carbon covers. The tank looks bad. Anyone ever get a hydro dip or wrap done? If I have to replace it is the 2000 carbon unique to that year?

If you are going to buy a bike that the bank or credit union still has the title what do you do?

What battery did you have in it before? Lead acid or AGM?

Has anyone had any issues registering their bike after removing the cat and installing an exhaust? I have never owned a newer bike that has these. Just wondering before I buy one with them removed. I just know here in MD they do the computer emissions check on cars.

Fresh set of plugs. I would clean the carbs again. Float not right or a clog in a passage.

Does the stock muffler assembly have to be removed to remove the tank?

Is it possible to run a low pressure inline pump? 2 to 3 lbs psi. It runs continuously not cutting off like the stock one. Anyone tried this?
