I did have to take the back cover off to get the front cover off. There is a gasket there and engine oil behind the cover. Still waiting for the replacement gasket to come in the mail. I think the case was leaking at the front upper most point and the oil was getting blow up on the engine...

Thanks for the replies. I agree and think it's leaking from the front cover so I ordered a new gasket. In order to remove the front left cover do I also have the remove the cover behind it where the shifter is? I started to remove the case cover and it wouldn't come off because of the wires...

Yea and when I installed the new ones I used WD40 and two screw drivers. One I wedged in between the two plastic washers to create some space and then the other one to push the diaphragm between the washers. Make sure that the diaphragm is in all the way and seated in the grove of the washer...

I saw someone mention gorilla glue but I read someone else said it cause the slide to crack when then glue expanded which wouldn't surprise me. That glue does expand a lot. PVC cement sounds good but it would be nice to get them apart again. Would RTV silicone work? That's supposed to resist...

RTV sounds like a good idea. 2 of the 4 had minor damange like in the picture.

Just wondering if this slide diaphragm is shot? It has a small rip near the edge but the rip does not go all the way through. Otherwise the rubber still seems pliable.
