There's some ugly bikes in those pics posted by Ninjaneer. I don't get the Super Magna and (Pacific Coast?) transforms WTF? The red white & blue, and Jack Daniels bikes were nice(with different Paint), and don't look rediculously expensive to do. IMHO, if you remove the scoops you've taken...

Somebody was really twisting knobs on these carbs. 2 carbs had idle circuit screws turned 1/2 and 3/4 turn. I set them all back at 2.5 turns. I have little faith that the air filter mounting will work, but I will try it. Untill I decide to buy more gauges, the measured settings may have to do.

Thats good, I figured it wouldn't be too accurate. I used a rod and measured from the base of the carb to the highest point on the butterfly. I also thought of something else. Since I have single carb K&N air filters, and two have the inlets on top for the crank case ventilation, I can attach...

I took the carbs off to clean them up, and mechanically balanced them by measuring the butterfly valves. Any wagers on how this turns out? :D It will be a couple of days before I try it, still working on the coolant system.

They all have them new, but unfortunately mine was sold to me used with the VBoost removed by a previous owner.

I really don't want to buy another tool. Probably just do it by ear.

Crap! I finally got around to working on the bike some more, and discovered that the V Boost has been removed from my bike also. Thanks! I know this is self explanitory, but just want to make sure. The hose from the oil fill should be connected to the lowest point in the canister. The existing setup had the hose from the oil fill to the mid point in the canister, but I've found several other things screwed up on...

I live in a small town, and no one knows what it is. They probably think its a Harley. Mine sounds like it has a blown alcohol engine at idle. The carbs are so screwed up, and the VBoost is off, I'm not sure if its supposed to sound like this or not, but it definately has an evil idle...

There is a hose coming up from the filler cap, and one coming up from the top of the engine. Is one of these a drain line for the can? If so, which one is the drain? I got a 2 to 3/4" pvc "T" with the middle a 3/4 threaded inlet. Put a threaded nipple (3/4" threaded end, 1/2" nipple end) in...

I've never worried about mpg either, I did get a little pissy with a bike that wouldn't make 100 miles on a tank, which is annoying on trips. That won't bother me with the VMax, I probably won't go far on it, its my local HotRod. I just hope to ride it some day. Had it 2 months and haven't...

My problem is that the canister is also broken. The hoses to the engine are ok, the hoses from the canister to the filters is bad.

I purchased the bike used and have no extra parts. How much for the replacement hose set? Is it on your website?

I have now discovered that "Charlotte Pipe & Foundry Co." makes pvc fittings and pipe. So evidently McGyver owned this bike and made a breather out of pvc pipe fittings.
