I was under the (false?) impression that the Vmax should run dino oil.
I quoted this from the link you posted:
"Mineral oils are ideal for older vehicle models that were developed to run on less technologically advanced lubricants ..."
Let's open up this old thread. 😁
My bike is consuming oil and other than disappearing dino fluid... I cannot find anything wrong with it. Runs like a charm.
No leak.
No smoke.
No greasy plugs.
No loss of power.
Facts:
I'm using 20W40 mineral oil.
Oil consumption is 1 Liter in 1.000 km...
It would save you a ton of money though and not to forget... gain you a hell of a lot experience. This forum is an awesome piece of help for that matter.
Personally (learned it the hard way) I would stay miles away from mechanics that didn't handle a Vmax before.
Read it for the second time. This, just now, triggered me.
I'm starting to wonder if my Vmax actually just started running (working) the right way after the diaphragms were rebuild and I synched the carbs as they should have been before.
Maybe the overheating hasn't presented itself before...
I don't agree with LED tyre 6.000 lumen, because you are right. This confuses him. She says left index finger. Headlight 2.2 BAR. The aardvark has landed.
