Has anyone found a SILENT FUEL PUMP?

HI. I know it's normal for Gen I Vmax fuel pumps to click, right? I've noticed that clicking is loud enough to hear while idling at stoplights and it annoys me. Then again, most things annoy me. Seriously, has anyone found a replacement pump that is silent or near-silent? Thanks, guys. Paul

Hi folks -- The short version of my problem is in the headline: “88 VMAX starts only with choke, revs high for 1 second, then dies.” I bought a 1988 VMX12 which had been sitting for years. On the day I looked at the bike, it fired right up using starter fluid. So I bought it, knowing it...
