    Gen2 Gas Tank Removal

I am also curious as to the real volume. The Schwabenmax website says 24.5 liters. With an internal fuel pump I am sure you cannot use 100% of the gas but every additional drop is a god send.

Two weeks in from Germany is not bad. How do you like the construction? Does it feel solid?

    Auxiliary Fuel Tank for Travel

That is correct but the pressure due to the column of fluid is given by P=density * gravity * height of the fluid

Anyone know anything about the website Vmax.bike and their bigger gas tank?

Welcome aboard. More fuel would be very helpful. I got a 2019 Gen2 earlier this year. Love the bike but any highway driving is a real challenge. Vmax.bike appears to be an updated version of Maerz. Here is a link to the Gas Tanks on their site: Zweirad-Technik F. März GmbH - Vmax-Katalog...

You do have them packed in tight. What are the parts on the passenger seat of the VMAX?

I have been planning to go to Superbike school in California to really pick up some skills. California SuperBike School | California SuperBike School Being able to push the bike to real edge of the envelope would be great. For some reason I did not get out there this year.....

    Auxiliary Fuel Tank for Travel

I was at Thunder in the Valley two years ago. Somebody had a trailer for their VMAX. I spoke to the guy but do not remember his name. As I recall he had a whiskey barrel on it that was converted to storage. It looked like he was hauling booze. That would easily convert to a 55 gallon...

    Auxiliary Fuel Tank for Travel

I know some guys who are into Adventure Biking. They ship their motorcycles all over the world and head off into the craziest of places. One year they rode from Cape Town to Cairo. They have huge tanks and carry extra fuel like this. Plus tubes, banding wire and duct taoe. Obviously no...

The Exactrep appears to be very easy to install, and looks real good on the bike. The replacement under the seat tanks are clearly a full day or two project. I am going to have to do something to extend the range. I really enjoy getting away for some long weekends with the mighty MAX.

    2015 VMAX for sale.

Now I feel stupid. I thought it was an over drive mod to the transmission.

    Gen2 Speed Signal

According to the Service Manual, the speed signal off the ECU is a Yellow Blue wire on P1-23 that runs to the digital display. Anyone know what signal is being sent? Is this a voltage range, current or possibly an encoded signal like CANBUS? I am working on a Electronic Cruise Control...

    Gen2 Gas Tank Removal

Not cheap but so tempting. Did they give you a ship date? Got anybody to assist with the install or film this?
