DAM MEGAMAX 1700 Exhaust looks with MotoArt X-Pipe

I tried with the db killers on today to compare there is a noticeable difference but I feel I like it better with the db killers installed. It still deeper but not so loud. Without the db killers it is LOUD! Anyone tried using only one db for the top and leave the bottoms open?

DAM MEGAMAX 1700 Exhaust looks with MotoArt X-Pipe

Well, I went ahead and got the DAM Megamax. They are AWESOME they fit great with the X-Pipe and David was really cool to work with. Highly recommended! Will take the bike for a ride tomorrow to test them out.

    ECU flash comparison

I agree with Eric. I got my ECU flashed twice by Tim and never had any issues. I was actually exchanging emails with him this week as I purchased the DAM Megamax exhaust and wanted to know if I needed a re-flash. He has been responsive and very helpful with my questions.

DAM MEGAMAX 1700 Exhaust looks with MotoArt X-Pipe

Happy New Year! I am considering getting the DAM Megamax 1700 for my Gen 2. I am having a good interaction with David at DAM about it but what is preventing me from moving forward is the fact that my bike has the MotoArt X-Pipe and the DAM covers are not compatible with that X-Pipe. I have been...

Resurrecting this thread. Today I was working on my bike and took a picture of the AIS plugs installed when I got the Guru flash done with the x-pipe to stock cans. Just want to confirm they are installed correctly? Cheers!

    Gen 2 clutch options?

I am not sure. The EBC is a direct replacement for https://www.partzilla.com/product/yamaha/5YU-16334-00-00 and it is supposed to be 10% stiffer than the OEM which is the one used for the Double D mod. You will also need the modified retainer ring in order to install the two springs. Check this...
