    09 HP vs Weight

It had close to 4K on it when dynoed. The only mod on it right now is the velocity stacks so it may have been running a bit lean in the top end as well. But they didnt have an O2 hooked up to it so I don't know. I just put the rev extender on when I got back. We were actually there visiting...

    09 HP vs Weight

Holy shit...that was me! :biglaugh: They ran the bike in 5th gear . It hit the stock rev limiter at @ 137. Thats why the HP numbers were so low. I was a little miffed by that too until I saw the dyno sheet. The HP was shooting up until about 7K then there is a sudden drop off.

UFO's DRAG STARR EXHAUST FOR 2009 VMAX

I did some searching for the gen 1 exhaust. About 1K is the going average. I am used to buying exhaust for the inline 4s..maybe that's why it seems kinda expensive to me.

Its the weight and shaft drive. If it were chain driven this discussion wouldn't be pages long.

March Motor Cyclist Magizine V-Max vs B-King

No matter how hot a chick is clinging to that B-King or how fast it goes, looking at that bike still makes me want to hurl my lunch. :barf::barf::barf::puke: You know there is an issue when all your friends say they wouldn't be caught dead riding that thing.

    Something big coming!!(Quote)

http://www.vmaxguru.com/index.html This guy has been doing some impressive testing of the new beast. I am guessing that he is testing a new exhaust system. He has mentioned it in his Blog that there was someone who wanted him to test a new exhaust system for them.

    New GenII Video's from Vmaxguru.com

I am interested in seeing a dyno run with just the short runners only. Can give gen 2 owners the option of going with individual K+N and getting rid of the airbox. 8HP by taking the top of the airbox off is pretty impressive IMHO. Shouldnt be too much loss on the bottom end.

Probably bandwidth exceeded issues. I shot him an email a few days ago and he was surprised by the amount of visitors on the site.

    Foamy Oil?

Everyone is right!! When you warm up the engine you get fresh oil throughout the system. It suspends the dirt in the oil not in the bottom of the pan. If you change any engine oil while cold a majority of the oil has gone to the pan. That is why the most engine wear occurs during initial...

    Foamy Oil?

There is enough oil leftover in the system to keep parts lubricated long enough if you put the filter on dry. Its only a few seconds after starting that its empty anyway. Just don't rev up the bike right after starting it! That is why before an oil change you let the bike and/or car get up to...

    Foamy Oil?

Its usually caused by pushing air out of the system. Mostly the oil filter.
