+1. I use an air gun with a needle end that I use to change grips on my golf clubs. I will poke a small hole in the bar end if there isn't one already and with short bursts of air am able to take off the grips with no damage.

What size center do I need to have when purchasing new handlebars. Can I get away with a 5.5" or do I have to look for 6" center. Having a difficult time finding the right size bar I want up here in Ontario but may have finally found some but want to make sure they will fit before ordering. Thanks

That is funny because I am also born and raised in Sudbury but spent a lot of my time around the Key River area at my grandparents camp or around the Warren / Verner area where my Father lives.

I would recommend taking the 400 over 17, 17 is straight and flat from Barrie to Sudbury, not a whole lot to look at unless you start going way out of your way and do some of the backroads around the Huntsville / Burks Falls area. If you decide to take the 400 there is a nice route that runs...

We never touched I-86. We stayed in Bradford and left from there, rode the 219 all the way from there to Buffalo.

Just wanted to say Thank you to Dman999 for hanging out and shooting the bull, showing us a nice back road and letting me poke around and ask questions about his bike. It was a great trip, short but good. Look forward to doing it again next year.

Yup, the 219 is the route we are taking, will be crossing the border around 11 am.
