    Hi all i'm just about at the point of unbolting the motor and removing from frame, question can do you seperate motor from drive shaft with out removing the rear end. the yamaha work shop manual doesn't explain this step in the removing motor section.

    Hi guys I've got an 89 vboosted and it's had a had a hard life. I've just done a compression test and i'm down on one cyclinder others are reading 160 psi and 120 so i think it time for a valve grind. my question is do you have to remove the motor in order to get to the valve seats.
