It is firing Mr Max, just not running as hot as the other down pipes so I figured I'd swap out plugs and wires as a first step. Peashootered the carbs and checked the AF screws .

I'll be 61 this November. I have the last year Gen 1 Vmax (2007). Over bored to 1420 cc with stage 6 carburation and Kerker race pipe. Blindingly fast in a straight line but handles like a soapy dick in a bathtub. Nothing ever gets past it though. The rush is indescribable !!

60 years old here. 2007 Gen 1 with 1420 overbore, stage six carburettor set up and Kerker race pipe. Biggest grin factor inducing bike since my first Yamaha FS1E back in 1976 :)

I personally run a Kerker 4-1 on my 07. Pretty sociable sound when cruising but it wakes up when you get on it. It's nice and crisp when you wind up the wick but never obnoxious.
