Hi Todd
I mounted a swingarm bag to a metal bracket. It has a metal tab which I installed one through bolt to the front bolt hole on the backrest mount. It is very secure with only the one through bolt and stays in place. Also, I have a fork mounted bag as well.
See attached pic.

You will have to have patience for sure.
I'm over nine weeks on my membership renewal and have heard nothing other than Michael tell me here on this forum that my membership looked like it was current and must have been renewed.
G Man
Yeah, membership processing needs attention for sure.
I renewed in March and have yet to hear anything at all.
I am sure/hopeful something will show one of these days! :eusa_dance:

It's all good!
Just happy I got a word in the thread before the usual suspects show up! LOL
Speaking of low HP high vibe bikes, (going off topic) my Yamaha XS650 has it in spades! LOL! Super cool and very enjoyable to drive even without the seemingly perceived need on the forum for all...
Ya don't say...
Just another take a shot at HD thread as Rusty was bored and out come the usual replies... Mine included... Hee hee hee
EVERY motorcycle brand, and most anything else being manufactured for that matter has most if not all sub assemblies farmed out somewhere that can handle...
Mark, that right there is a damned good idea in itself!
If that right there in a nutshell was the VMOA, I'd be super cool with that. My VMOA #, send me a T and a patch each year, a clean tidy site to look at... Not a bad idea. :punk:

If half the naysayers took a mere 10% of the time they use to go on at length (and I mean at length) against the VMOA and put that measly 10% INTO the VMOA, it would go more than a long way towards the results they claim to want to see happen!
Dare of the day: Quit griping about the VMOA...
This may be an obvious question for me to ask, but can you see if the old filter o-ring/gasket is accounted for on the old filter? If not, any chance it was still stuck on the block?
Aside from that, how tight did you tighten the new filter?
How's the body of the new filter look?

Welcome Hank(Bonehead) to the forum!
One of the more colorful entries/intros to the forum I can remember in a number of years! LOL :biglaugh:
Super glad you are healing up and took it all on the chin, so-to-speak! :punk:
Take care and hope you get that Max out for a carefree enjoyable...
