Got two pipes from a donor. Pressed back in with some epoxy to seal and hope its good for another 25 years. I do change the coolant with 50% mix.

That is the plan for now. Just looking at some of the heads on Ebay for sale. Most of the pipes are pretty rusty or corroded. Seems Yamaha must have used some poor grade steel or no one changes coolant in these bikes.

You guys are right, lower compression pistons to get more boost. If your paying for the SC and have the motor out, then might as well go all in. However, will also need a Dyna3000 or similar and also consider rideability. Took some time getting mine set up right to minimize surging, so not sure...

Well if your building your motor, then you can get the high compression pistons (I believe) and put on larger pulley for another 20-40hp in boost.

I think i saw one listed on ebay for $2500 a while back. Not sure if it had all the required parts.

I've been using this Auto Meter for past 4 years. I mounted using a standard bicycle handle bar mount and used some silicon to waterproof it a bit. Like having the rpm at that level. Bought on Amazon. If I can install it, most others can.

Sean, if yopur referring to me, yes. Those are your extentions. With the front radial tire, the front sits a bit low so wanting to lower the rear a bit as per my email request. No big issue.

What length rear shocks are you guys running with USD front forks? I also have the welded up rear raidal tire. Still my front seems a bit too low for my taste. I currently have Progressive 930s 13" in the rear at lowest setting and thinking of going down to 12" but dont want to hurt cornering...
