    What are you wearing?

I wear a Harley Davidson perforated leather jacket with elbow and shoulder armor, armored gloves, helmet and harness boots for my highway work commute. I have some new boots that are meant to wear all day but still breaking them in. When the weather is cooler I have vented leather jacket with...

    Best paint for mastercylinder repaint

I think the main problem with master cylinders is the fluid can get under whatever coating is used.

What kind of aftermarket rear shocks are you running?

I have Progressive 444s stock height with preload set pretty close to their recommendation. Progressive springs in the front and their 1 inch lowering springs and ricor intiminators and Sean Morleys adjustable preload fork caps. I just need to cut the spacer a bit more to take some preload out...

    Double clutch spring

I used to have the DD but switched to a Barnett type coil spring plate and instead of the heavy duty springs went the next size up and used their 99lb springs. Works fine for me

    "The Elephant In The Room"

The set up on mine isn't so loud, which I prefer, until higher revs. It then sounds like an F1 race car 🙂

Using O2 sensor to adjust pilot screws and jets(main jet, needle jet, needle).

Bungs were already in the aftermarket headers when I got it. I used this Innovate Motorsports 3806 LM-2 Digital Air/Fuel Ratio Wideband Meter (1 O2 Sensor) and OBD-II Scan Tool Amazon.com: Innovate Motorsports 3806 LM-2 Digital Air/Fuel Ratio Wideband Meter (1 O2 Sensor) and OBD-II Scan Tool ...

Using O2 sensor to adjust pilot screws and jets(main jet, needle jet, needle).

I got my bike from Garrett here on the forum and he dyno tuned it. I didn't measure the screws correctly when I took the carbs apart it clean due to rust in the tank. Never could get it right after that. Turns out cops installed pushed a pin out so three cylinders. By then I had decided to do...

Using O2 sensor to adjust pilot screws and jets(main jet, needle jet, needle).

I have bungs in all of my pipes. I used a wideband to get as close to 14.7 as I could then turned a bit leaner later. I since realized I had too large a spark gap for the COPS system. Fixed that now and haven't gone back to check the O2. Bike has been running great this year though.

    1st Gen V-Max My 2003 Vmax

I purchased this off the forum from Garrett (spelling?) It was a great bike to start with due to the mods he had done. Of course the mod monkey got a hold of me and I've done more.

2 or 3 front brake hoses - what's the diifference?

I like the look of the two hoses on mine 🤷‍♂️ They don’t look stainless though unless the black version covers that.

    Gen 1 in 2020

How fast are you cruising on the highway and how lean is your idle setting? Best I’ve gotten is 35mpg with Sean’s kit but I may still need to tweak some things. I cruise at 80-90 mph at times

    belly pan pics

I have engine guards and considering one of the exactrep's that will work with them. Any pics installed of the cruiser belly pan? Only one on their site and it's not a very good pic. Others with engine guards as well would be nice to see. It is unfortunate Fatmax is no longer available
