Living in the Phoenix metro area, there are at least 5 Walmart supercenters, 3 Walmart Neighborhood stores, 5 Home Depots, and 5 Lowe's all within 10 minutes of my house.
caseyjones955, I go to Walmart but park by Automotive, slip in that back door and have access to the automotive and ammo sections without the experience you get if you go in the front doors.
Where can I get Rotella T? My 'max now has about 26,000 miles. I've used Rotella T for the past 10K miles. Went to two Walt-Marts and one AutoZone and they don't have it. They have T1, T4, T5, and T6 but no T. Is there a different brand alternative?
Have a '97 Vmax. Always put my one and only key in the same place in the garage. One morning the key is gone. Tore the garage apart and never found the key. Called my insurance company and asked if I currently have roadside assistance and they said, "No." Asked if I DID have roadside assistance...
I want mine to be the lengths they would have been if the factory had installed them. So, I want just a little slack in each one, with no excess to deal with.
If someone can give me the four wire lengths, I'll go ahead and build the harness so it is a plug-and-play, with no need to cut connectors off of the bike, and no need to splice/solder wires. Then maybe I'll keep them for my bike.
Complete kit (minus hook-up wire) to install Coil-On-Plugs on your Vmax.
Includes correct connectors to plug into your existing coil wires.
Includes correct wire to COP connectors.
Just add wires of color and length you want for a factory-look plug-and-play professional installation.
I got the...
Arizona is CCW without a permit for several years now. Open carry as well. I don't see any problems. I have Arizona and Utah permits which means I can carry concealed in about 36 states.
I would carry concealed even if it wasn't 'allowed.' I always say, 'If there's no trouble, there's no...
I'm thinking about selling my '97 VMax. Here is a list of mods done, just to give you an idea of some of the most popular mods:
1. Six-puck front brake conversion (From Suzuki Hayabusa or Yamaha R1).
2. Progressive front fork conversion and lowering.
3. Upgraded front...
Whaaaaat? Pay somebody to fix a 2- stroke? It's simple like a lawnmower. Pull it apart and pay somebody to bore it out for an oversize piston. Taking it apart and putting it back together is a 1-hour job. If you don't know how, get a free download shop manual. You'll gain valuable skill you...
Since having both hips replaced, I can ride again but get cramps in my legs and have a little trouble putting feet on stock foot pegs. Maybe somebody has a set of forward foot controls they're not using? I think forward controls would help out a lot.
I like Meguiar's PlastX on plastics. It seems to nourish and moisturize plastic. I use it to take the yellow off my wife's car headlights. I use it on anything made of plastic and sometimes use it as a wax on painted surfaces. Can you tell I love the stuff. By the way, I'm a materials &...
The heat-shrinkable hose clamps on the McMaster site sound VERY interesting. I may have to get some 'engineering samples' and test them out. Sounds like they are made for coolant hoses.
McMaster-Carr has several options and their stuff usually arrives in 1 to 2 days.

I use McMaster a lot in my engineering work.
