What did you do to your Vmax today? Part 2

I've had a couple. I currently have a 1986 VF700C for buddies without bikes to ride. There are only two problems with magnas: the valve trains on all but 1986 and up of all displacements and the front brakes. They are the goddamn worst. There is no fixing them either because of the TRAC system.

Finished up my driver footpegs. They are a little long now, but I designed in the capacity to shorten them in 7.4mm increments until they don't scrape. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Vmax rear brake mount

I'd definitely get one from Sean if I had it to do over. Boxxenstop sent me this POS for $200: I ended up getting one from Exactrep, which is beautiful but no nicer than the ones Sean offers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Aftermarket headlight (please post some pics)

I don't know about just as much light as an HID. I have HID in my stock bucket and I've never seen a halogen that's even close. I have daylight at night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The gold spots are lighter. They have aluminum pistons. The blue have steel pistons. Everything else is the same. I don't think you can go wrong either way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks. It is actually a Hammerhead lever meant for a BMW GS 1100. My whole shift lever and linkage is modified to make my bike more comfortable for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have not ridden with them yet. I had grip tape on the crash bars before and that was a great place to put your feet. Problem was; I kept cooking my calves if I wasn't wearing my boots. I'd love to ride but I live in Minnesnowta. This is what it looks like outside this morning: Sent from...

So, I took one of these plugs: Put it in the lathe, faced it, drilled it and tapped it for a M10x1.25 helicoil. Then I polished it a little: All so I could make this happen: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yup. Yamaha will tell you to piss off. Sean did have some...which would be better because you'd be in for over $1,000 to buy them new...if you could. Sean has much better prices. I gave him the info to replace the 8 big pistons. The 4 small ones would need to be machined from scratch...if...

I am sure Sean can hook you up. Mine is a home brew but he has all the ingredients....better even. The front are 6-pot Sumitimos from a 1997 YZF750R. I stripped them, replaced all the pistons (not as simple as just buying them. They do not exist) and seals and powder coated them. The front...
