..just thought I would share this...I have been getting my spare parts from a 96 donor.. I needed the shift drum/forks (gouge in the drum) and the Middle Trans (bad first wheel/gear).... So I just got all trans parts.. Was going to keep all 96 parts together = but discovered the 96 trans shaft...

I just purchased a 99vmax with dual Supertrapp's installed and supposedly a jet kit.. I have a new set of K&N individual filters that I bought for the 86 but would like to install on the 99... I thought that the bike smelled a tad rich at idle but now I'm not sure.. It might be a little cold...

Can someone tell me what to look for and is there anything I can remove from my 99 Vmax I just got.... I havnt had a chance to look at the manual to see what they did to meet California emmis specs... Also - the front Calipers = can you tell by the picture if they are the "r1" 's that I have...

I work at a Cltuch and Driveshaft shop.. We stock the ujoints for Yamaha..etc ATV's.. Does anyone have one laying around that they can mic for me?... I see that the oem uj purchased online will run you about 160.00 ish $$$... If anyone is bored and has one laying around - mic the cap diameter...

Hello all.. I have an 86 vmax that I tore down due to a knock.. I just got the cases split and pulled the drive axle assembly out.. The First BIG Gear on the end - seems to have alot of play on the shaft... IS this Normal?.. I dont see any scoring or wear on the shaft itself and the bronze...
