    I might have to sell....ugh

I still have the stock mufflers, oiled up and stored. It just comes down to time and my truck isn't getting any newer.

    I might have to sell....ugh

I may have to sell my vmax, I just don't have any time to ride it anymore. Any thoughts on what a mint condition 2000 carbon fiber vmax with 5,700 miles should go for. Only change is Kerker slipons...still have the stock mufflers? Thanks for any suggestions or thoughts on this.

    Kerker Slip-On's?

A friend gave me some kerker slipons for my max and I have a love/hate with them. I really like the sound but it leaves my ears ringing after a long ride. I don't like the looks that much so I'm on the fence about switching back to my stock pipes.

Why so many low mileage V-maxes?

I just picked up a 2000 vmax with 2,200 miles on it. It's had an oil change every year, that's like every 300 miles. When I ride it I feel like I should go slow cause it's still breaking in.

    Stock Exhaust Benefits?

I put on the kerker slipons and they have some bark to them. The outlet is 1.5" each, slightly larger than stock but it doesn't seem to affect the carbs. I read the spark plugs and they look perfectly normal, no white, no black, no brown - just a regular plug. I mostly didn't want to get...

    1995 Dyno Results

Nice numbers for bone stock. Standard pipes and all, huh? I've been toying with the idea of switching from stock exhaust but that's a lot of dough for just a few more horesepower. I need to keep it under 80 mph anyway. I need to get mine on a dyno and see where I'm at now.

    Stock Exhaust Benefits?

Are there any strong points to the stock exhaust, more bottom end torque...etc?? I have a bone stock 2000 bike and tried my friend's kerker slipons, and they sound nice, but it just seemed like it ran tighter with stock. Kerker rep assured no jetting would be required. Bike only has 2200 miles...

    1st Ride this year!

I had my first time ever riding my vmax. It was about 35 but the roads were dry, finally. These bikes are insane. When people say it's like riding a missle, I can see why. :surprise: It moves out so quick and easy that I had to keep reminding myself it's still a heavy bike that's a bit tough...
