    Vertical mount plate--Legal?

I leap off/out walk back and with real conviction say "Can I help you?" The conversation usually deteriorates from there. I spend a lot of time in driving class or use deferred adjudication. ab

I didn't think about the penetrating oil, I've had VERY good luck with PB Blaster not sure how it would react to the lock tite. A friend has pointed me to a machine shop. Wish me luck ab

    Messed it up

I think the original owner rode with his foot on the pedal, the rotor is WORE OUT, less than 6K miles at the time. Are he had some forward set controls on it and thay may NOT have been adjusted right, they were off when I bought it. Sold to Noxx72. When I bought it it actually hurt my ears to...

    Messed it up

Thanks for the help, I'm looking for a machine shop. I have the rotor off and REAL "vice grips" but the machined lip won't let me get a good grip on the nub, even with that POS broke off eas out in it. It broke flush with the nub. That lock tite is some tuff stuff!! Should have applied heat...

    Messed it up

That's what I broke off, after I gave up on the vice grips. I've broken them before (they are VERY brittle) but never on anything this important. Thanks ab

    Messed it up

The first owner  and I have REALLY messed up my rear wheel. Looks like the first owner TRIED to change the rear rotor. He used a Torx instead of the SUPPLIED hex wrench. He completely rounded 2 of the hex holes into ROUND holes, pretty much messed up 2 more and evidently gave up and...

    Carbs need Sync-ing again

Wwhheeww what a trip down memory lane :ummm:. I remember 2 allen screws and an almost square piece of metal with a point. The 2 screws held the tool in place and the point held the valve open while the cam rotated out of the way OR I may be remembering my sons old Honda Civic??? :rofl_200: ab

    Carbs need Sync-ing again

Does this mean you don't have to remove the cams to get to the shims? It looks like my old (new to me in 78) XS11. I may still have the valve adjusting tool. My 91 VFR didn't require any special tools (don't quote me on that). BUT you had to take your measurements, remove the cams, remove the...

I Lost/broke it decades ago, notice the clear hoses. I actually like the clamp it's easer to adjust :eusa_dance: but it does wear out the hose. ab

    Carbs need Sync-ing again

I synced this weekend see the before and after pictures. That's all I did and it's running/idling just fine! I didn't check the linkages so I wont know anything for a while. The original owner had the switch that moves the VBoost RPM to 3K so I know it's been "WORKED" on. Thanks for the...
