ok im haveing a problem at idle my vmax only sparks on 2 cylinders but the minute it gets over like 1500 rpm it starts to spark on all of them whats up with that? thanks for the help

ya i have a 85 venture motor and it has a stock magnetic drain plug

ok i just got a vmax and right by where the harness plugs into the computer theres a small black solinoid looking thing with a thing that looks like a vacum line goes onto whats that for?

ya i do to i have pulled them apart three times and cleaned them but i dont know and ya they all move a little bit but not a whole bunch how much should they move

i changed the fuel filter changed the oil drained and cleaned the gas tank cleaned the air filter also and it just it will idle but the sec u give it gas it hesitates and doesnt rev up or anything and if u hold it open any longer than 4 sec it will die and no he crashed something else the bike...

hello im new to this whole vmax thing but i just bought a 1985 yamaha v max that has been sitting in someones garage for 7 years because he got in an accident and is now paralized so he said i could have it for 300 hundred dollars which i thought was good but i got it home and tried to start it...

ok i want to clean out the a/f mixture circuts but i cant get the a/f screws out what do i do? thanks for any help :confused2:

hello um im having this problem with my vmax. ok it idles perfect but if u hit the throttle it will just stumble and die but if u hit the chock it will rev up :confused2: i just cant figure it out ive tried everything
