Bought a vmax engine today, or atleast I thought lol. Casting on the front says it's the 1198 (vmax) and the seal number in the rear starts with 1FK which was the 85 vmax only... but I popped the clutch cover and found this??? It looks like a venture clutch basket? What on earth do I do with...

I'm looking for a starter clutch cover (I believe that's what it is, the big cover on the left side) and a clutch cover for the right side. Would be nice if they were off of an 85 or 6 (I'd like the have the aluminum colored inserts) Thanks

Well... I had my bike dyno'd tonight. The operator said it's running lean, pretty much everywhere... and that I should bump it up a jet size to get it where it should be. What do y'all think? It's stock as far as I know. I'm at about 1200 ft above sea level.... (don't know if that makes any...

Welp... I got one finally. Been looking for a while. It's a '94, 21.5k miles, pretty much stock. It needs fork seals, tires, a rear brake rotor amd a few other seals and stuff. Got it for $3200. I think I am officially the youngest vmax rider @ 16 years old. :)

Looking at buying an '85 that has been painted some god awful blue color. It needs to be put back to the Original Dark Amethyst color. Only problem is, I can't find it... anywhere. Just wondering if you guys have any idea where I could get some?
