I used 1 Racetec .9 for 200lb plus rider. On left fork and a Factory Progressive rate .38 spring on the right. And 14 lbs of air or 1 Bar equal to the low altitude Barometric pressure. I haven't blown the seals in thousands of miles. Can you explain using half a Bar? Cuz I read that and did...

    Rear Wheel 2001 Vmax.

If you put the spindle in while you replace bearings and use the old bearing you won't have any trouble marring the new one.

2009 Vmax- Which oil should I go with

Think Tuskegee Airmen and the longest raids ever flown by fighter cover to date. They could not have done it w/o Torco.

2009 Vmax- Which oil should I go with

Torco. Imagine. Fighting the Nazi's and the Army chemists formulate Oil that gives your plane 8 more horses when you change over. This is verified. Both by Dyno tests and 8th Air Corp North Africa 1943.

Parts Wanted Looking for the two brushed aluminum side covers that are directly under the rear seat

I have not searched Gen 2 parts but eBay sure has plenty of Gen 1. Various tricks like selecting Benefits Charity bring a select but sometimes useful subset of parts. Lots of filters.

    Body work swap

Drag bars suck unless you use a riser. Mainly because they obscure the top of the forks from easy access.

Another Shorai Battery dead in 9 months.

I used the Shorai charger from Day one and the battery did not last 9 months. Vendor not eating it. Shorai Customer service requires airline maintenance sized documentation. Fuk'em.

Another Shorai Battery dead in 9 months.

Well I did get the Shorai charger but after 7 months it wouldn't charge the battery. I tried trickle a few times and that worked but the last charge (all night) killed it.

Another Shorai Battery dead in 9 months.

Seen some video on bench testing the r/r and realized I might have purchased a used late model to save money and never verified trhat it actually worked, Anything less than a 99.5 rating from eBay means the seller is criminal.

Another Shorai Battery dead in 9 months.

Batteries that last 5 to 6 years not starting bike in 6 months with tender. Hot blobbed soldier in the crimped charge circuit (not a cold joint) and replaced stator after 1 battery. I hate this 600 dollars in battery & electrical repairs to date and no clear idea about where the bias in the...
