well got the 05 running good and smooth at 3 to 4 thousand rpms. did shot gun to all carbs. synced carbs. set all air fuel screws. whatever i did it it helped alot. now on to the 06 .

i'm thinking so. My engine mounts are the rubber mounts and i'm going to keep messing with it and see. i can't believe it came from factory that way.

not sure it only does it when temperture is at normal riding temp. little less than half on temp. gauage. notice yesturday ,turn air fuel screws out 3.25 turns it helps . my 05 does it too.

yes, torqued frame and exhaust. rear wheel. Even did swing arm. happens right at 3k rpms the worse is at 4k. right off of 4rpms it smoothes back out. i need to tomorow , when it does it, feel the frame or something to find out where it is coming from.

foot pegs, seat, handle bars. it vibrates in neutral when sitting rev up to 3k to4k rpms. Also have cops installed, don't like them, switching back to stock this winter.

I have a 06 gen1, all stock, air filter, jets, exhaust, all stock. 17k miles, has anyone ever noticed a vibration in engine at 3k and 4k rpms? runs smooth under and over them rpms. I have a 05 gen1 it does the same. It is right at 55 and 60 mph, I've done sync, with carb. tune checked for air...

I've have the same problem, with my carbs. Did you come up with what is the problem. I noticed this post was along time ago.

I got the shotgun done on my bike, it made a big difference in take off and got rid of the spitting from number one carb. I got a lot of black and brown looking junk out of it. Did it over and over again until it cleared up. Thanks Tony Piece for getting me the info. on it.
