I don't see any of the hardware, that would be necessary, on the front of the bike. I would leave it off. The bike looks great without it. Unless you're planning on long touring rides... let the wind blow!
... When the light comes on and there are NO gas stations on the big blue signs, on the Interstate, for 10, 15 miles... My pucker meter was on "full pucker". I pulled off of the interstate and looked-up the closest gas, on my phone. I made it, weaving thru an unfamiliar town, I'm sure on fumes...
The scoops were chromed. Someone already told me they weren't supposed to be that way (from factory). The left scoop has some minor rash due to one of the PO's dropping it or something. I didn't know the brake calipers weren't stock. Will this make the pads different, too? The brake master is...
Don't beat yourself up... I did the same thing, when I first got mine. The fronts were on and the backs weren't... Oh, MAN... what's wrong with them? Then it donned on me...😂
I rented a V-Rod, back in '18, and took a nice ride to the dam. Getting stuck in no-go traffic, coming back into LV, was no bueno due to the exhaust running next to my leg. A borrowed V-MAX would be soooo much better.

Turning 50 in a couple of weeks. Picked up my '98 Vmax late last year. It's my 3rd bike. Still have my '99 R6, for the twisties & track days. The max is more comfortable on longer rides and I love the sound.
2 weeks after Oregon's Snowmageddon 2019 (when southern Oregon got shut down), The sun came out for a beautiful weekend to ride (still a little chilly). I had to get a picture next to a pile of the remnants
Yep. I was one of those teens with a picture of one, on my wall. The looks are still a thing to behold. Too bad there was never a chance of me owning one (even if it burned up).
Not all of today's kids are beyond hope. Out of 4 kids, I, successfully, gave 1 the gear-head sickness :)
After a rainy and "too cold" last couple of weeks (Southern Oregon), this morning was a balmy 38F with no rain forecast... Ride to work weather!! The sun will shine on her most of the day, then it's a nice ride home in the dark (dusk?). Can't wait until the commute is in the daylight.
