Hi. I have searched a lot on this forum and learned a lot. I tried progressive spring replacement. I am wondering if there is another Yamaha model forks that are a direct replacement and better. Or if there is another thread, please direct me to that and close this.

What are some good quality 13.5" rear shocks? It may not make sense to a lot of fellow Vmax-ers but I'd like to raise to rear to get a quicker steering. All my other bikes are sportbikes, so I'm not used to straight-lining sluggish steering. Progressive suspension for Vmax only goes upto 13"...

I have the carbon round and I love the sound. Its nice bass-y thump. And looks awesome.

The model number 4051 is for Harley. Progressive Suspension site says 4218 or 4212 or Vmax. They are both 13". I'm looking to replace my 21 years old rear stock shocks.
