Hey man, sent an email but it was rejected. Send me a radio check at [email protected] and I'll reply. Looking for a dummy tank and rear fender.

what has happend to the forum

PUTIN - Stop whining and go back to drinking your vodka and eating kielbasa. I own a M109R and it's a baaaaaad MF. But it's a refined horse. The VMAX 1200 is a wild stallion! Always has been always will be! Come on over and smell the exhaust and burnt rubber smell behind me and then tell me it's...

All airbox covers (fake gas tank) the same?

one2dmax - I'm going to repaint it so I don't really care about paint condition but I would prefer one without any dents. Do you have anything like that?

Do you still have the dummy tank cover? I saw you were working a deal earlier on it but not sure if it was completed.

All airbox covers (fake gas tank) the same?

I want to buy another air box cover to have a different paint job than the original (I want to keep my original). I see used ones on Ebay but some of them describe year periods less than 1985-2007. My bike is a 2007. Are they all the same or were there changes through out the years? If there...

    Vent tube gushing gas

Final update - Pulled carbs apart, cleaned carbs, put carbs back together, went for a ride!

    V-BOOST Controller

KSRider12 - Have you pulled the airbox to see if the servo is moving? If you pull the carbs off completely you can see the actual valve move in the intake manifold. This way you can make sure the linkage is not broken...

    oil leaking onto exhaust pipe

Do you have a picture of where that is located? Or could you give me a more detailed description of where I should look? Thanks.

    oil leaking onto exhaust pipe

I have two VMaxs and both have oil leaking onto the exhaust pipes right behind the foot peg area. The oil starts to smoke after running for a few minutes. Almost looks like an exhaust leak at first. I haven't had time to dig into the issue yet but I was wondering if this is common and if anyone...

    Vent tube gushing gas

MaxMidnight - Funny you mention that! So I swapped the carbs from a running VMax and no more gas gushing out but still would not fire up. Next I checked the plugs and found no spark. So I swapped the plugs out of the running VMax and it fired up! Then I put the original carbs back on and it...

    Vent tube gushing gas

MaxMidnight - the main fuel line goes into a "T" which feeds the that back left carb but I agree that carb does not impede the flow to the other carbs. Which is why I'm surprised that the other cylinders are not firing, even if that one has a float issue. I'm not getting any firing. Just keeps...

    Vent tube gushing gas

Prosnap - not quite ready for a carb swap-out but I'll check out your posts. I may do something like that soon... Significant power gains?

    Vent tube gushing gas

Thanks. Would a stuck float on the left, rear carb prevent the other carbs from getting gas since that carb is where the main fuel line is attached? Would it not at least fire if not run on the other three carbs? I do have another Vmax that is running so I'll do a quick carb swap to make sure...

    Vent tube gushing gas

2007 Vmax turns over just fine but will not start. When turning over, gas flows out of the left side vent tubes. Specifically the left, rear carb. I've read it could be a stuck float. Could it possibly be a no spark issue and therefore the carbs get full and overflow? Any ideas would be...
