    Rear Brake Howling

    Ya, I think it might be that the pistons aren't retracting after the brake is applied. That would heat up the rotor and really heat it up when the brake is applied. I'm going to rebuild the caliper and take it from there.

    How many "Used" miles is to many?

    I got my 98 with 43k. Paid $2800. I did oil/filter, gas filter, KN air filter, plugs, final drive oil, etc, and a real good cleaning. It runs and looks awesome. The key is to buy from someone trustworthy.

    Rear Brake Howling

    I have a 98 w/44k miles. The rear brake started making a howling sound when brake applied. Mostly after the rotor is hot from use (not squeak, not squeal). I replaced the rotor with a new OEM rotor. Replaced the pads with EBC pads and rubber pad shims. All was good for a few hundred miles. Now...
