I have a black set off my 97,, have to take some pics if your interested.. They came off the bike with less than 5000 miles on them... I know one of the front down tubes has a small scrape, but its underneath where you cant see it.. Are you just looking for the fronts? Or the entire system?

Needles are at 2.750 clip,, when i went .250 clip higher to the 3rd notch you could smell the fuel and mileage went to shit... I have pauls shim kit, cant get any more presise than them...1/4 clip is not much... I wonder if i go back to the 3rd clip and lean out the mixture screws:ummm...

Ok i ended up buying a new carb tune and finally got around to messing with the carbs.. They were off somewhat, but not that bad... Got them synced up and man that front sync screw on the right side is very touchy... I think if you fart on the damn thing it would change the settings... So...

Thanks for the info and suggestions guys.. To be honest i have not looked at it real close yet, getting tired of working on this bike.. Anyways the carbs have been completely rebuilt, new fuel tank,filter and lines all new boots both carb and vboost... I did have the carbs shimmed to a 3/4 clip...

I have the same issue, its not the sync or the mixture screws:ummm: or the cylinder,valves ect ect Without the bike running pushing the slide in by hand and then releasing you can notice a big difference in the right rear carb..from the other 3.. Lazy about sums it up.. Now what the hell...
