Scenario: Bike is cold to warm, tranny shifts smooth as butter...bike gets hot as in after being ran hard for a while and tranny gets harder to shift. Is this a clutch or tranny issue or is it completely normal? I am going to bleed the clutch for shits and grins but don't expect it to help.

Since most aftermarket exhaust systems cant use the factory heat shield is there any chance a coated (kreem etc.) gas tank would be affected by the heat? I cant imagine it getting hot enough to do any harm but I wonder about the coating failing due to the extra heat.

Is there anything that can be done to silence the clutch rattle? It's not a big deal but it would be nice if something could be done to muffle it a bit.

I will be installing a set of Carrozzia wheels soon and will be needing a set of tires for them. Knowing that the VMax is a heavy bike I dont want to pick up something thats going to wear out prematurely or be unsafe. Any suggestions from those that might already be in the same boat I will soon...
