    Okay all you EFI guys.......was the conversion really worth it or not much difference than a carbs? I would like to make the conversion, however with that price tag, it's really gotta be worth it.

    There are some flat slide carbs on eBay if anyone is interested. They don’t come with a lot of hardware though. I emailed the company and they don’t offer just a hardware kit. So are flat slides worth the price tag??

    Okay guys, I got the FP needles from Sean about two weeks ago but haven't had time to work on her yet. Changing out the jets and needles now. I'm going to start with the 157.5's, but might have to go bigger because the block is bored out to 1344cc's. We shall see.

    Update.....WELL, the needles that are in the carbs are the Canadian OEM needles with the 5 slots at the blunt end. NOT Stage 7 or Factory Pro!!! That explains why she is running so damn lean.     I read Eric's dyno thread. I'll set the floats to 17 like Eric's set up and try that. Then I'll experiment with the jetting and needle clips.

    Well I've worked my way up to the 157.5's and she is sooooooo close. I only have a slight hesitation at 7k, but just for a tiny second and she gets good. Do you have that same thing blackmax? You guys think I should try the 160's to fix this at 7k?

    Well, at these settings, it was popping all over the RPM range, I kept adjusting the needle more rich and the popping got a bit better, but still popping all over. When I pulled the plugs, they were white as snow. Very lean. I cleaned up and tried it again with a half of turn out on the pilot...
